The plan for securing a loan with the aid of the League of Nations for the World Zionist Organization to promote the Jewish colonization work in Palestine was discussed with leading statesmen of Jugoslavia by Nahum Sokolow, chairman of the Zionist Executive, who is now on a visit here.
The Zionist leader was received by the Jugoslavian Prime Minister, Vuicevic, Foreign Minister Sumenkovix, the British Ambassador Kennard, and the United States Minister, Dr. John Prince.
It was stated here that the first government which has declared its willingness to guarantee a part of the loan to the amount of £ 250,000 was the government of France.
