The presidium of the National Federation of Israeli Journalists has protested against the suppression of press freedom in Egypt. “Freedom of the press is a major precondition of a real dialogue between nations and of achieving progress towards peace,” the Israeli journalists said in a resolution adopted Sunday. They urged other journalist federations to adept similar protests.
