The promulgation of laws for municipal self-administration in Palestine as a preliminary to the establishment of a Legislature was indicated by Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope yesterday in his address before the Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.
The High Commissioner emphasized the favorable economic position which Palestine enjoys and expressed the hope that Arab-Jewish relations would improve.
