Citing conflict with community leaders, Rabbi Baruch Rabinowicz said, “Neither side fulfilled the expectations they had.” An Orthodox rabbi in his mid-20s, Rabinowicz took up his post last May as the first rabbi to have been hired by the community in at least four decades.
