The report in the Arab paper, “Falestin,” that Sir Ernest Dowson will be the assistant to Sir John Simpson on his mission here to investigate land settlement and immigration was today authoritatively denied. The “Falastin” reported that Sir Ernest had arrived here with the Colonial Office’s order of his appointment.
Sir Ernest has just arrived from Iraqen route to England. He had been an official in Iraq and on his arrival here submitted a memorandum to the Palestine government on the land question.
