The Senate yesterday adopted the Desmond resolution memorializing Congress to pass the Wagner-Rogers bill for admission of 20,000 refugee children into the United States.
At the same time, the Senate advanced to third reading the Hawkins bill prohibiting the employment of aliens who are unlawfully in this country. The bill would bar such aliens from membership in a corporation, unincorporated association or labor union.
