The seventeenth anniversary of the Institutional Synagogue, 37-43 West 116th street, will be celebrated with a dinner and dance at the Hotel Plaza on April 15. Lester Udell is chairman of the committee on arrangements, and other officers include William L. Basser, Isaac Settel, Aaron Wartels, David H. Gluck and George L. Livingston. Herbert S. Goldstein is rabbi of the west side branch of the synagogue, at 148 West 85th street, and Philip Goodman is spiritual leader of the main building.
