The Simon Wiesenthal Center applauded French officials for cracking down on anti-Semitic attacks. Because of France’s efforts to halt the series of attacks that occurred earlier this year, the center downgraded its advisory for Jews visiting France from “extreme caution” to “caution,” Shimon Samuels, head of the center’s Paris office, told Reuters on Sunday.
