The Simon Wiesenthal Center called on the European Union to help make suicide bombings crimes against humanity. Following a meeting with E.U. official Javier Solana last Friday, the center’s international liaison director, Shimon Samuels, said E.U. support for such a legal device would be “a new legal and moral tool in the struggle against those who sponsor, train, or incite these terrorist mass murderers.”
