The sixth hostel in Jerusalem for the retarded, which has a capacity for 30 adults, was opened by Mrs. Rachal Shazar, wife of Israel’s President. Admission will be for persons with an IQ of more than 50 who are partly able to care for themselves but become a strain on their families when they live with them. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Joseph Burg, Minister of Social Welfare, Mayor Teddy Kollek, and West German Ambassador Karl Knoke.
