The Skirball Foundation established an endowment fund supporting the Center for Jewish Studies at the City University of New York. The foundation donated $1.5 million to start the Jack H. Skirball Fund for the Center for Jewish Studies, which is meant to help secure the center’s financial stability and help it recruit a prestigious director.
