The son of Israel’s prime minister refused to give documents to police investigating a possible illegal loan. Despite a court order demanding that Gilad Sharon hand over the documents, he again asked the state prosecution to delay the process. The prosecution refused. Sharon is suspected of having taken loans from South African businessman Cyril Kern, a family friend, in exchange for services.
