The Soviet Union today suggested that ## to evacuate within air months after signing of a treaty with the Allish ## all displaced persons residing within its borders.
Fedor Gusev, Russian representative at the meeting of the Big Four deputies which is drafting the Austrian treaty, said that the Soviet proposale would be presented formally within the next few days. He gave no indication as to where the Soviet believed the DP’s should go or how they are to get to their ## destinations.
Both the U.S. and British deputies have already submitted their views on the DP problem. They call for Austria to bar discrimination against DP’s and to accept the decisions of the projected International Refugee Organization on the disposition of the refugees.
The three viewpoints will now go to the deputies political committee where an attempt will be made to draft a proposal which will be acceptable to all of the Big Four.
