The Kid’s last fight—if he loses—will be held tomorrow night at the Velodrome. Kid Chocolate and Buster Brown are scheduled for their fight that had been postponed from last week.
The Chocolate-Brown engagement tops a card which includes three additional eight-rounders, a six-rounder, and an opening four-rounder. The semi-final eight will show Bobby Pacho, Pacific Coast stablemate of Keeny La Salle in action with Jimmy Skavin, of the West Side.
Kid Chocolate recently lost a decision to Peddy Hayes at Ebbett’s Field, Brooklyn. He decided that he would try the next weight above the feather and figures that if he can’t make a go of it in this division, why then he’ll hang up his gloves. A sensible way of acting for a fighter who doesn’t want to become punch-drunk.
FORT HAMILTON AND NEW YORK COLISEUM
