The biggest charity show in the history of amateur boxing will be staged at the Coney Island Velodrome Wednesday night under the auspices of the Jewish Philanthropic League. Most of the headliners in simon-pure boxing will be seen in action.
A special bout between Johnny Vitale and Jack Lambert will be one of the numerous features. Vitale and Lambert are meeting for their third clash, each holding a decision over the other. This bout has been sought by amateur clubs ever since Lambert came back to outpoint Vitale in their second meeting after being outscored in the first.
