The State Department has decided to pay relocation costs for dependents of American employees at the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem who want to return home out of fear for their safety. According to the Jerusalem Post, officials’ relatives living in Jerusalem are being offered what is known in State Department parlance as “authorized departure.”
