The synagogues here were filled to capacity today for special ceremonies marking Martyrs and Heroes Day and the 20th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. The programs included readings from the works of Ghetto writers, selections by the children’s choir, and the recitation of the kaddish by the entire congregation. Israeli Ambassador Yehuda Gaulan addressed the various gatherings. Most of the Finnish press published special articles related to the Warsaw Ghetto observance.
