The third international Israeli youth festival will be held from July 10 to Aug. 21 in Beit Berl near Tel Aviv. According to Harold Zinman of Lynn, Mass., the festival’s US chairman, about 500 teenagers from five continents will participate. He noted that the festival will seek to bring Jewish youth closer to the State of Israel; acquaint Jewish youth with the historical, religious and battle sites of Israel; study and understand Israel’s problems; allow for extensive sports activities and competitions; and acquaint Jewish youth with the kibbutzim, moshavim and Nahal border settlements.
