The three-day meeting here of the American Jewish Congress’ National biennial convention concluded with the integration of the organization’s national women’s division into the AJCongress and the dissolution of the division as a separate entity after 49 years. The integration plan will make for “stronger organization, in which men and women will work together as full and equal partners in the work of strengthening Jewish life and advancing human rights,” said Howard Squadron, AJCongress president, at a farewell dinner honoring the women’s division.
