The trial of Pieter Menten, charged with mass murders in the Lemberg area in the summer of 1941, will be resumed on Aug. 25. The special tribunal of the Amsterdam district court will then hear four witnesses from what is now Russian territory, who will come to Amsterdam at the request of the public prosecutor.
