The U.N. Commission on Human Rights blasted Israel’s assassination of Hamas’ leader. The 53-member commission, which meets for six weeks each year in Geneva, voted 31-2 to condemn Israel for killing Sheik Ahmed Yassin on Monday. The United States and Australia opposed Wednesday’s vote, while 18 countries, including European countries, abstained.
