The U.S. advisers who helped Ehud Barak orchestrate his election victory over outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are surprised by the landslide win. Speaking in Tel Aviv this week, Stanley Greenberg and Robert Shrum said Barak’s ratings increased so sharply when televised ads for him aired that they thought their polls were inaccurate.
