The U.S. ambassador to Israel closed the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv after receiving a “credible and specific threat.” Discussing the move by Edward Walker, an embassy spokesman would not discuss the nature of the threat, but he denied a report that the ambassador’s life had been threatened.
