The U.S. ambassador to Malaysia criticized a U.S. congressional resolution that called for Malaysia’s prime minister to resign. The envoy said rhetoric on both sides should be toned down. Congress passed the resolution after Mohammed Mahathir blamed Jews for the economic woes of Malaysia and other Muslim countries.
