The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking the deportation of a Florida man it charges with assisting in the persecution of Jews in Lithuania during World War II. The department’s Office of Special Investigations alleges that Algimantas Dailide, 80, was a member of the Saugamus, the Nazi-sponsored Lithuanian security police.
