The U.S. House of Representatives adopted a resolution commemorating Israel’s 50th anniversary. The measure, which passed unanimously, “commends the people of Israel for their remarkable achievements,” and “reaffirms the bonds of friendship and cooperation which have existed between the United States and Israel for the past half-century.”
