The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution calling on the United Nations to end its bias against Israel. The resolution, initiated by Rep. Steven Rothman (D-N.J.) urged “member states of the United Nations to stop supporting resolutions that unfairly castigate Israel and promote within the United Nations General Assembly more balanced and constructive approaches to resolving conflict in the Middle East.” It passed 400-1, with only Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.), a vocal critic of Israel, voting against.
