The U.S. House of Representatives passed an amendment banning assistance to Saudi Arabia. The amendment, which passed by a vote of 312-97 last Friday, was sponsored by Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.). The amendment must be confirmed in House-Senate conference.
