The U.S. Justice Department is seeking to deport a man who allegedly served as a concentration camp guard during World War II. The department’s Office of Special Investigations filed charges Tuesday seeking to remove the U.S. citizenship of Theodor Szehinskyj, 76. Between January 1943 and February 1945, Szehinskyj allegedly served in the Nazi SS Death Head’s Guard Battalion, which committed atrocities at several concentration camps, including Sachsenhausen.
