The U.S. State Department sent its condolences to the families of five Palestinian children killed last week in Gaza. The five were killed by an Israeli bomb, planted in an area used by Palestinian gunmen, that the children apparently found and played with. Deputy spokesman Philip Reeker called the accidental death a “terrible tragedy.”
