The U.S. teen-ager who fled to Israel after allegedly committing a murder in September 1997 will plead guilty in an Israeli court to murder next month, according to a prosecutor in the United States. Samuel Sheinbein will be sentenced to 24 years in an Israeli prison as part of his plea bargain, according to Maryland State’s Attorney Douglas Gansler. Last month Sheinbein, who is being tried in Israel because his father was born in prestate Palestine, pleaded not guilty to murdering Alfred Tello Jr. in suburban Maryland.
