The United Jewish Communities is considering giving an additional $13 million to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. A plan to offer the money to the JDC for its work around the world was one of three proposals by UJC subcommittees appointed to determine allocations for the federation system’s overseas partners, the JDC and the Jewish Agency for Israel.
