The United Nations reportedly will ask donor countries for $450 million in Palestinian aid. The Associated Press quoted U.N. officials Wednesday as saying that three-quarters of the requested $453 million would go toward job creation, cash assistance and food aid. Other funds would be earmarked for the Palestinian health and education systems.
