The United Nations said Israel would complete its Lebanon withdrawal soon. UNIFIL, the recently strengthened observer force in former Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon, said Tuesday that talks had been held with Israeli military commanders on the fate of Ghajar, a border village formerly split between the two countries but which was entirely taken over by Israel during the summer war.
