The United States deported a Lithunian-born man for his role in helping to execute more than 11,000 people in Lithuania and Belarus during World War II. Juozas Naujalis, who served in a Lithuanian battalion that aided the Nazis, returned to Lithuania on March 15 after a U.S. appeals court upheld his deportation.
