The United States needs to do more about “addressing hatreds” between Israelis and Palestinians, a State Department official said. Addressing the Anti-Defamation League annual leadership conference in Washington on Monday, David Satterfield, deputy assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, said Palestinian schools need to stop teaching hatred, calling this a “major, major challenge” of the peace process.
