The universities of Haifa and Nice have signed an agreement providing for far-reaching scientific and research cooperation. The University of Haifa was represented by its president, Gershon Avner, and the agreement was signed in the presence of Israel’s Ambassador to France, Meir Rosenne. Nice University has similar agreements with six Arab universities, including those of Algiers, Morocco and Tunis.
