The upcoming Jerusalem gay pride parade has been rerouted in a bid to avoid conflict with the city’s fervently Orthodox communities. Organizers of the march said Tuesday that, following consultations with police, it would not take place in the center of Jerusalem but, instead, around government buildings on the capital’s western outskirts.
