The walls of a Jerusalem synagogue were defaced with graffiti. Graffiti such as “The intifada will win — Sharon is a murderer” was found on the walls of Jerusalem’s Great Synagogue late Friday night, the Jerusalem Post reported. Because of Yom Kippur, nothing could be done to remove the graffiti. In a separate incident not far away, vandals spray-painted graffiti against Israeli officials in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Rehavia.
