The Web site of Israel’s “City of David” museum won an international design prize.
The three-person team behind www.cityofdavid.org.il was feted at the World Summit Awards in Venice on Monday. Their site, which features slick animated reenactments of ancient Jerusalem, won the prize in the “e-Culture” category.
The World Summit Awards were started in the framework of the United Nations World Summit on Information Society and are the world’s premier contest for excellence in Internet content and creativity. This year’s competition drew 650 entries from 160 countries.
