The West German “Bank Fuer Gemein Wirtschaft” has entered into a 50-50 partnership with Israel’s “Bank Hapoalim” to establish the “Israel Continental Bank Lts.” in Tel Aviv, it was announced Wednesday in Frankfurt. The new bank will have an initial capital of DM 10 million and will serve the two-fold purpose of financing foreign trade and supplying investment funds in Israel.
