The West German Theatrical Arbitration Court today ordered the manager of the state theatre in “Gotha” to pay his salary for the winter to an artist who was dismissed because he is a Jew.
The manager of the theatre stated that in dismissing the Jewish artist, he was acting upon orders of the Nazi majority in the municipal council of Gotha who had decided upon the dismissal of all Jewish artists.
