The White House blasted Yasser Arafat as it condemned Wednesday’s suicide bombing in Israel. Along with saying Wednesday that President Bush condemned the bombing “in the strongest terms,” White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said, “In the president’s eyes, Yasser Arafat has never played a role of someone who can be trusted or effective.”
