The Wiesenthal Center criticized the United Nations high commissioner for not planning to visit Israel’s North while in the region. The center’s director for international relations, Shimon Samuels, noted in a letter Wednesday to Louise Arbour that her visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories, beginning Nov. 19, excludes the North, which is still rebuilding following Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah.
