This shop opened on January 2 with a large assortment of Palm Deach clothes, appropriate for Southern resorts and mid-winter cruises and already enjoys an enthusiastic patronage. Thrift House has initiated the shop in the belief that those who are budgetting their expenses for mid-winter vacations may be able to afford a trip of this nature only by “dressing on a limited income.” Clothes, bathing suits, white frocks of every type, shoes and bags and all kind of accessories are to be seen in a special, charmingly decorated section of Thrift House at more than reasonable prices.
All of the merchandise at Thrift House is the result of donations and the proceeds of the sales are turned over to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. The volunteers who forms the sales force at Thrift House work under the leadership of Mrs. Richard L. Rafalsky, associate chairman of Thrift House.
