The Women’s Branch of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America will invite out-of-town Jewish students to Passover seders.
Mrs. Harold S. Stern, chairman of the committee on religious work among college students, will see that they are invited to the homes of members of the association for the holidays.
SHAARI ZEDEK DINNER
Congregation Shaarei Zedek of Manhattan celebrated its ninety-sixth birthday last night with a dinner at the Hotel New Yorker. The principal address was delivered by Dr. Elias L. Solomon, rabbi of the congregation. Entertainment and a dance followed the dinner.
