The World Jewish Congress asked Interpol not to arrest a Russian media tycoon who is also the leader of the Russian Jewish Congress. The WJC said Vladimir Goussinsky is being persecuted for political reasons. Last week, Russian prosecutors ordered Goussinsky’s arrest on embezzlement charges and asked Interpol for help in arresting the magnate, who is living abroad.
