The World Jewish Congress, holding a two-day conference, has decided to create an advisory committee for underdeveloped countries. According to WJC spokesman Marcus Eilfield, the decision was taken “to counteract Soviet and Arab propaganda and present a true picture of the Jewish people.” Eilfield said too many leaders of the “Third World” know the Jewish people only by “stereotyped views often tainted with anti-Semitism.
