The World Organization of Jews From Arab Countries is demanding compensation, under an eventual peace treaty, for millions of dollars worth of property left by Jewish refugees forced to floe from Arab States. MK Mordechai Porat, leader of the group, said the principle for compensating Jewish and Arab refugees is in Security Council Resolution 242 which calls “for achieving a just settlement of the refugee problem.”
