The World Zionist Organization Executive this week approved a set of new standards to improve the quality of persons chosen to serve as WZO emissaries abroad. They will be required to speak Hebrew and the language of the country to which they are sent, must have completed their military service requirements, and must be well-versed in Israeli politics, economics and social problems. The standards were recommended by WZO Torah Education and Culture Department chairman Moshe Krone.
